This calculator treats Monday through Friday as business days. Saturdays and Sundays are excluded. Public holidays vary by country and are not automatically deducted — if a holiday falls within your range, subtract those days manually from the result.
Yes. Both the start date and the end date are counted if they fall on a weekday (Mon–Fri). For example, from Monday to Friday of the same week equals 5 business days.

Calendar days count every day of the week. Business days count only Monday–Friday. A 14-calendar-day period contains at most 10 business days (if it starts on a Monday). The difference grows over longer date ranges.
