About

The ASCII Text Art Generator converts any word or phrase into oversized block letters built from Unicode characters. Type up to 20 characters, pick your fill style — classic block, hash, star, or dot — and get a ready-to-paste ASCII banner in seconds. Perfect for Discord server headers, terminal welcome screens, README banners, and anywhere plain text needs to make a bold visual statement.

FAQ
What characters are supported?+

The generator supports all 26 letters (A–Z), digits 0–9, and spaces. Lowercase input is automatically uppercased before rendering, so you don't need to worry about case.

How do I use the output in Discord or Slack?+

Copy the result and paste it inside a code block — wrap it with triple backticks (```) on Discord or format it as a code snippet in Slack. This forces a monospace font so every column lines up perfectly.

Why does my ASCII art look misaligned?+

ASCII art requires a monospace (fixed-width) font to display correctly. If the output looks skewed, make sure you are viewing it in a terminal, code editor, or a code-formatted message in your chat app.

Can I make the text bigger or add more styles?+

The built-in glyphs are 5 rows tall — a compact figlet-style size suited for sharing online. You can switch the fill character between block (█), hash (#), star (*), and dot (●) to change the visual weight of the letters.
